Could you design the mascot for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games?

In Detail

Do you have what it takes to design the official Birmingham 2022 mascot?

Birmingham 2022 is inviting children aged five to 15 to get creative and submit their very own mascot design for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, with winners receiving tickets to the spectacular Opening Ceremony.

The Organising Committee wants the mascot to reflect the identity, heritage, and culture of the West Midlands, and embody everything the region stands for; youthfulness, diversity, dynamism and creativity – so keep that in mind when working on your design.

The entries that best reflect these attributes will inspire the official mascot, which will be seen by over one billion people, and will become an iconic symbol for the region in the run up to and during the Games.

And if that isn’t enough of an incentive to get involved, the best entries will win family tickets to our Opening Ceremony!

Your mascot can be a drawing, painting or collage and could be a character, person or animal. It’s up to you; all you need is your imagination!

It couldn’t be easier to take part. Just click HERE to download an entry form, or simply use an A4 piece of paper and let your imagination run wild. When your masterpiece is ready, take a photo or scan it in and ask a parent or guardian to upload it HERE.

Just be sure to submit your entry by Wednesday 5 August. What are you waiting for?!
