In Detail

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is coming soon – be there to witness history in the making.

Like previous editions of the Commonwealth Games, Birmingham 2022 is running two public ballots to apply for tickets, which is the fairest way of giving everyone a chance to be at the Games.

The West Midlands Ticket Ballot closed on 30 July 2021. The Main Ballot, which will take place 8–30 September 2021, will be open to everyone. The majority of tickets will be available in the Main Ballot.

Tickets start from £8 for under 16s and £15 for adults. There are also £22 tickets available for every session of the Games, including medal sessions, and for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

The Birmingham 2022 competition schedule features more medal events for women than men for the first time in Commonwealth Games history, as well as a fully integrated para-sport programme.
